Meet the twiddlies

I've talked about Kamikaze and Kaizoku but haven't yet kept with my tradition of snapping billions of pics of them, so I figured that it was about time. Later, Ill take some window-side pics so I have better lighting, but these arent so bad for indoor pics, especially in the bathroom:

Kamikaze, whose leg is getting better by the day. She's a sweetheart.

Kaizoku, or as Laura calls him "The controlling husband". He started as a nasty biter, I trained it out of him and then he started biting again today. Ugh. He's also the screamer of the 2 birds. Laura is working on training him out of the habit.

Kamikaze

I took Kamikaze to the vet today. She will be fine, it appears to just be a flesh wound. She's got good color in her leg and foot and is balancing herself on the leg a little so we are relieved.

Juliette nor Annika have had babies yet, I am still guessing Annika will give birth on or around the 8th. Juliette looks to be at least a week behind her sister.

No babies yet

Well, Juliette is still in her own cage and has built a nest but hasn't had babies yet. Her spotting has stopped so we are just watching her closely. Her tummy really isn't all that big. Annika on the other hand, her belly is dragging on the ground. It's huge and getting bigger every day. I did the math and based on the night that they were playing with Donnie and were in heat, the babies will be due around Wednesday, the 8th.

In other pet news, One of lauras parakeets, Kamikaze, "flew" onto Juliettes cage and Juliette bit her on the leg. I plan to take Kami to the vet tomorrow to make sure that everything is ok. It was unnerving, but I think that she will be fine.

In people news, I am slowly getting better and getting my voice back. I've been using laura's inhaler when I get really wheezy and cough a lot and it seems to be helping. Several people in the house have this illness and I must say, it really drags you down. I'm simply exhausted at all times. On that note, I'm going to bed.
