Dreams, Glitter and Tears

Wow, 11 years has passed by since you fought the world and decided to wait as long as you could before we FORCED you out. LOL, you were going to stay another month if we let you!
You were such an easy baby and bright toddler, you transitioned into the school life easily and made lots of friends without problem. You have your little quirks but we love you just the way you are.

I'm glad you had such a great day today, it was a lot of fun making your cake and letting you and Lauren use my camera to make a show. Good job on the special report on the stray dog! We all had fun at your party, even Daddy.

I am so proud of you, you have chosen how you want to live your life and what kind of person you want to be and you have held true to it! Good job being YOU! I love you.

Tonight Kay and London went out with their friends for the 4th celebration at the country club. How swanky.They saw a magic act, played on a giant moonwalk and saw an awesome fireworks show. Afterwards, they went to their friends' Aunts house and lit off more fireworks.

Little James and I didn't have any fireworks to light off because it's illegal in Sugar Land to use fireworks. Bastards. We could have bought some but decided that with the constant rain, we'd just save our money. Instead, we drove out to Stafford and watched some other fireworks that were being shot off.He enjoyed it. Good enough, I suppose.

The babies did well today, they are in the mouse cage now. They love to run all over it, especially the female. Both of her eyes are open now and she really takes advantage of it. They are both nibbling on solid food today. I'm worried about them though, neither one ate well during the last liquid feeding. They male seems weaker than his sister. I gather he will not make it through the night, given how fragile they are. Bummer. :(
